About

Hey there!

Mille Mots Photo

A Texas farm girl from day one, I have special places in my heart for hard work, college football, Mexican food, Red Raiders (Wreck 'Em Tech!), and Jesus. Along with my husband Joel and our sassy daughter Kate, I live in the DFW area and serve on staff at our church, Irving Bible (IBC), where I am the Ministry Coordinator for our Women's Ministry.

Prior to IBC, I spent years in the corporate world of finance and in international nonprofits that planted churches and loved on widows and orphans. Those years formed not only who I am today, but taught me valuable lessons and skills, and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

There are few greater joys in the world than sharing Jesus. And I am incredibly blessed to have that opportunity. I’d love to share with you about the ups and downs this world has dealt to me, and rejoice with you at the redemption and hope that we have each day in our lives with Christ at the helm. Even if…He is still so good.

My days at home are filled with hot coffee, old school Law & Order, snuggles with my girl, and a whole lot of Jesus. If I’m not home, you can bet that Joel and I have boarded a plane and are headed somewhere fun. Traveling together is our most favorite hobby!

— Alice McQuitty, Irving Bible Church
It has been my privilege to have known Mrs. Amy (Gillispie) Aupperlee since 1996. I have observed, not always from a distance, her resolve to testify to the relevance of Christ through her ardent appropriation of Scripture. Connecting her personal walk with Christ to strong theological preparation, Amy communicates a spiritual and confident direction in contemporary fashion. Recently, I had occasion to experience firsthand Amy’s humility and passion, as she returned to her home church (FBC, Gruver) to lead multiple seminars and morning worship. It was exactly what we needed!
— Rev. Scott Curry, First Baptist Gruver
